When I first came to Dr. Lhota about two decades ago, I had expected that he, like my other dentists in the past, would do a routine exam, count how many cavities I had and rush me out until the next visit.

But from the very first moment, Dr. Lhota showed me a style and manner that had been unknown to me in any of my previous dental experiences. He has always been thorough, yet sensitive to my anxieties. He comes up with the most creative engineering solutions for my peculiar dental problems, and goes the extra mile to find the best labs, taking the time to follow up frequently with the technicians to ensure that they carry out his exact specifications, all the while keeping price considerations in mind. My particular case has required, in addition to the more mundane fillings and root canals, a great deal of re-alignment and reconstruction.

To say that I am a satisfied customer is an understatement. I am grateful to Dr. Lhota for being instrumental in alleviating my chronic neck aches through his interventions and for giving me back not only proper chewing function, but an aesthetically pleasing smile to boot.

But my deep gratitude is for more than his painstaking attention to detail and the high quality of his work; it is for his having helped me overcome my great fear of dentists, which by the time I came to him, had reached almost phobic proportions. From my very first visit to a dentist back in childhood, the defining emotions in these experiences had been anxiety, pain and avoidance until I met Dr. Lhota. His gentle touch, his calming voice, his perfect pitch attunement to my every twitch or grimace, his quick response to ease any discomfort, and his sensitivity have all guaranteed my having a truly no-pain experience since that the first time twenty years ago.

Evidence that he has gained my trust, which indicates that the anguish I had associated with dental visits has been erased, is in the first time years ago when I actually dozed off on his chair during a root canal!

Dr. John Lhota has been my dentist for 15 years. I have flown thousands of miles to see him whenever I need dental work because I know it will always be done perfectly and painlessly -- and kindly.

Along with routine care, Dr. Lhota performed an oral surgery in my mouth and the results were excellent from a procedure that was very complex. The whole office team -- including the dental hygeniest -- is caring, patient, and more skilled than that of any other dental office I have ever visited. The office atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed, and there is never a sense of being rushed.

I actually look forward to going to dental appointments with Dr. Lhota as there aren't many places where you can go and feel totally confident, comfortable, and satisfied with work that lasts.

Hi Staff! How are you? Remember me? I moved to NJ and have not been in for a cleaning because I live so far away. I do plan on making the trip really soon because I think Dr. Lhota and his wife are the best! I actually got over my enormous fear and phobia because of Dr. Lhota and I don't think I will ever go to another dentist. Even if it takes me 2 hours to get there ....I will get there. I feel so relaxed and at ease in your office and I am happy with results.
